NOVEMBER BASEBALL: The Dodgers Force a World Series Game 7 After Tyler Glasnow Performs His Best Houdini Act To Keep LA's Season Alive

Holy fucking shit! We've got a Game 7 on deck in the World Series. To start this thing off that result felt impossible. I picked the Dodgers in 6 and with that I was really being generous to the Jays. Toronto winning three games felt like a tall task here. Next thing you knew the Blue Jays were a hit away from winning the whole damn thing in 6, something Toronto has been accustomed to in their franchise history. Things got real when Addison Barger ripped this double in the gap in the 9th with a man on 1st and nobody out.

A little controversy followed here debating if this should have been ruled a dead ball or not. Either way this wasn't going to be a triple so this only applied if you had the run line in my opinion.

Ernie Clement was due up next which forced Dave Roberts' hand to bring in Saturday's projected Game 7 starter Tyler Glasnow to replace Roki Sasaki, who was taxed after pitching the 8th. All hands were on deck. On one pitch Glasnow got the always aggressive Clement to pop up to the infield. The Jays infielder has had a great postseason by swinging at literally everything, but here it came back to bite him, One out. A life line for LA.

Two pitches later Glasnow escaped the whole jam thanks to Kiké and some horrific base running by Barger. How do you not freeze here?

Just like that we've got ourselves a Game 7 on Saturday night. Honestly with how this series has unfolded we deserve a Game 7. Truly a great, even matched series between the definitive two best teams in the game. Everyone will be available. Shohei Ohtani will pitch. Will he start? It feels like he has to because he can easily remain as the DH afterwards. If he comes in as a reliever he'd have to play the field to remain as a hitter. Glasnow only threw 3 pitches so he'll be good to go in some capacity. Snell will give you innings. Yesavage will be available for something. Bieber. Scherzer. Bassitt. If you have a pulse you're available. I'm sure Yamamoto will advocate for an inning if they need it in desperation. Game 7 with the World Series on the line. Cannot get better than this.

P.s. Writing this real quick I didn't get a chance to shout out Yamamoto, who again was nails. He easily could have pitched the 7th and I thought it was crazy to pull him when they did for Wrobleski. Lights out again from the highest paid pitcher in the game. If the Dodgers in Game 7 and Ohtani does nothing he probably is your MVP
