You Can Pick One: Josh Allen As The Waterboy And Hailee Steinfeld As Vicki Vallencourt Or Paul Skenes As Borat And Livvy Dunne As Pam Anderson On Halloween. Who You Got?

I think Francis summed it up perfectly how Halloween gets at a certain age for some people. 

I stand by the take that haloween has a good like 9-10 year run in your life. From like 1st grade-5th and then college into like 23/24, that's about it. Sucks as a teen, sucks in high school, not great as an adult.But people get into it big time. There's likely people scouting costumes for next year already, game respects game. Also if Halloween is on a weekend like it is this year, people into it need multiple costumes. Think about college, you needed a Thursday,Friday and Saturday outfit at least. People get into it. I've opted out knowing it will never be as fun as being blasted in a basement somewhere as Spogebob or Rowdy Roddy Piper.

Anyway, at this point in life, a good halloween costume - it's like people having a really nice stamp collection or a nice tomato plant in the garden. It's something I'll never do,but you can respect they have a hobby and that it's clever or funny etc. Good for them. 

I came across two I thought were really good, and had to settle the debate in terms of which is better. Let's first go to Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld. Terrific costume, people their age likely grew up on Sandler, it's a rare one, it's fun etc. Great pull. 

Now Paul and Livvy. One of those that was likely THE most overplayed costume in like 2007 the year after Borat came out (actually looking back- what a miss from Borat to come out 11/3/06 and miss the Halloween wave while in theaters), but it's been so long it works now as a perfect little throwback. Attention to detail …well done. 

The question I have here that will let me pick a winner is did either of these guys commit to the bit? What I mean is after a few drinks andf everyone's letting loose was Josh going ""Now that's what I call high-quality H2O," or "My Mama says that alligators are ornery because they got all them teeth and no toothbrush" ? Or more importantly, was Skenes going "wa-wa-wee-wa", "very nice" or "you'll never get this" and then laughing with the boys? 

For the record this is still my favorite Borat line. 

I'll never get the answer because I don't get invited to these kinds of parties, and that's fine by me, but I would like to think that even as cool as Josh Allen is, Paul won the battle last night at whatever different party he was at because he was letting loose with Borat impressions, and for that I say he wins … but we'll never really know.
