You Cannot Start A Game Better Than Texas Just Did

In a weird quirk of scheduling, Texas hasn't had a home game since 9/20. If you think they missed the home field you would be correct as their level of play clearly jumped the minute they stepped back on the DKR turf. The first play from scrimmage on a rather conservative play call with Arch Manning (who we weren't sure was going to play at all today) tossing a little flat pass to Ryan Wingo who ended up going 75 yards for a House Call has jolted the Longhorns in front 7-0. 

As if things couldn't get better, when Vandy gets the ball, Texas forces a fumble and leads to a FG. 10-0 Longhorns. 

Not to make this about me, but Texas clearly was motivated by my 9-3 comments and decided they needed to come out eith a bang.

Seriously though, I think Texas despite some really shitty play at times and an inexcusable loss to Florida, is a good football team and one of the ones I'm most excited to watch down the stretch in this new playoff format because every game is do or die. Gonna be a fun fun month. Also … still tons of game left and Vandy will not go quietly so don't think I am disrespecting you Vandy fans.
