Vanderbilt’s Last Gasp Onside Kick Attempt Was Painfully Close To Pulling Off a Miracle
Game of inches … a game of inches.
My God! Diego Pavia and the boys were literally INCHES from this recovery and a chance to tie or take the lead after being down 24 in the 4th.
Just remarkable to get the bounce you need and not come away with the ball there. Just brutal.
There were a few storylines of the game I will hit them rapid fire if that’s okay and hope that no other blogger privately or public ally compares me to The New York Post.
- Arch was back and he was terrific, 25/33 328 yards 3 TD 0 INT. He’s the guy they need down the stretch of this brutal run of games and today he delivered big time. He’ll need that vs Georgia and A&M because he’s been MIA a LOT this season.
- Diego Pavia is the perfect college QB. Everytime you look he’s in the mix with a fan or an entrance or something. Headline guy I love it.
- Vandy fans need to learn time and score and situations and not dance when they are down late
- Don’t count your chickens before they hatch Mark Ingram
- Vandy is still in fine shape for the playoff. But Texas Georgia just became that much more interesting next week.
It’s only 4pm… buckle up folks!
