Why Is The Big Ten Intentionally Disrespecting Ohio State?

I have a question and I need someone from the Big Ten to answer it for me. Why would you take your best product, your biggest cash cow, your premier program in Ohio State and intentionally disrespect them?

Tony Petiti, Big 10 Commissioner, You should be doing two things at all times: one, getting on your hands and knees and thanking the Buckeyes for not demanding 99.9% of all revenue in the conference because without them, you’d be the equivalent of the Sun Belt. I mean, Fox had the first three television slot picks of the season for the Big Ten and they took Ohio State vs Texas, Ohio State vs Michigan, and Ohio State vs Penn State. I wonder what the common denominator is there? Folks...Fox chose Marshall at Ohio State for Big Noon Kickoff.

But two, you should be trying to prop up Ohio State in every single aspect that you can, seeing as they are the team that gives you the best chance to win the National Championship, the best chance to win the Heisman, the best chance to showcase the Big 10 on the biggest stage.

So I guess I just don’t understand why this week, when the new Heisman Trophy favorite Julian Sayin had the best game of his career, in which he went 20 of 23 for 316 yards and 4 touchdowns, folks thats more touchdowns than incompletions, on the conferences biggest stage on Big Noon Kickoff, did he not earn Big 10 offensive player of the week?

Instead, you guys handed it out to Luke Altmeyer. Luke was 19 of 31, a substantially worse completion percentage, had almost a full 100 yards less passing, had the same 4 passing touchdowns, yes he ran one in as well but he also threw an interception too. And he did all of this against….Rutgers?

Like take my Ohio State fandom out of this, and take the Heisman Race out of this, and take the Big Ten needing Ohio State more than Ohio State needs to Big 10 out of this….Julian Sayins game was unequivocally better than Luke Altmeyers. So why did he not get the award? Now factor all those points back in and my brain simply cant comprehend why the Big 10 would intentionally disrespect Ohio State like this.

Congrats to Luke Altmeyer though. Heck of a mediocre game against Rutgers.
