This Throwback Video Of Rex And Rob Ryan Coaching For Western Kentucky Is Awesome

Shoutout Jetski who during our two day voyage to a Bosco Industries shoot (which was one of our wildest jobs yet) found this gem of an Instagram post. I have no idea where it was used or why it was used, I imagine local news or maybe even home video(which Rex hasn't had the best track record with), but however it found it's way to the internet, I couldn't get enough. And for them to be at Western Kentucky of all places, which was so kind to me in like 2014-2015 betting on them every week, was even better. The fashion, the hairdos, all of it. Just perfect. Also the sign off was hilarious, the mix of defending their dad to lunatic Eagles fans, while also asking for money was just remarkable. 

I know Instagram does a good job of their algo, but when I see stuff like this, I really do wish there was a way to figure out how to them get all of stuff like this. Like I want old sports videos of coaches, or locker rooms, or fights, or I don't know just stuff that feels like we had no business seeing. Stuff that at the time people would say "why are you filming this?" and 30 years later now that everyone films everything, we crave those kind of videos. I want all of it. The Ryan brothers could read the newspaper I would watch. It's with a lot of sports stuff, when things become folk lore or like taboo or secret we want them more.Think about that famous video of Lebron getting dunked on, or the scrimmage of the Dream Team losing etc. The actual content of the video might not even be that compelling, but it's because it's hard to find or someone buried it makes it that much more wanted. Gimme all of this stuff.
