Checking In On The Giants Disaster Today: Lawrence Taylor Is Now Publicly Begging Abdul Carter To 'Wake Up' And Do His Job

We know the Abdul Carter story by now. Dude keeps getting benched/suspended/whatever the hell you want to call it because he's missing meetings and being late. He's not lived up to the hype of being this can't miss pick going 3rd overall, part of which is his fault, part is Shane Bowen being a football terrorist. Either way, not great! Not good when everyone is basically begging him to make plays or at the minimum be on time. 

But now it's reached Lawrence Taylor: 

I hope he was intentional with the wake up line, that'd just be LT knowing comedy here. But really it's just another day realizing how big of a shitshow this franchise is. Abdul Carter was supposed to be awesome and there's a chance he still turns out that way. But I have no hope with anything with this franchise anymore. I don't trust Joe Schoen. I don't trust John Mara. I don't trust anyone inside that makes any decisions. 

Again, I don't think we're asking for much as fans here. We just want to stop all the dumbass stories and stupid shit from happening. Just be an average franchise. That's how down we are right now. Just be average. We shouldn't have to hear that LT is begging Abdul Carter to wake up after Abdul Carter said he wanted to wear 56. We just want to hear that he made a few tackles and had a sack. Again, just be a normal franchise again. It shouldn't be that hard, I see franchises all across the league do it on a weekly basis. 

Can LT just start threatening the front office too? Maybe give some advice there? I'm sick of writing blogs about how the season is over before Halloween and then we just keep getting more and more embarrassing. I just want a little bit of happiness. That's all we need.
