Today's episode is a HUGE one. Two-time Olympic gold medalist, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion, two-time FIFA Player of the Year, and a four-time Olympian, Carli Lloyd, joins the show to break the news to us that she will be the newest owner of the NWSL's NY/NJ Gotham FC.
Erika: Do you want to tell tell us what this announcement is?
Carli: So I'm super thrilled - this is kind of a long time in the making... You know how contractual things work out... I am a officially an owner of the NWSL team, Gotham FC!

I think this is really cool, and I'm just happy too; this is something new for me, but I'm really a big believer in what Gotham FC is doing. They're really trying, they've rebranded, and last year, I would say the second half of the season, they're really trying to make things a lot better for the women."
