Frank Walks Episode 57: Jim McMahon presented by BODYARMOR
Recently, I did a walk with Jim McMahon. He's the punky QB who did the Super Bowl Shuffle as the Chicago Bears won Super Bowl XX. After leaving the Bears in 1989, Jim McMahon bounced around the league, often keeping his teams in contention as a reliable backup quarterback. This included time with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings.
Before being drafted by the Bears in 1982, Jim McMahon had a memorable comeback win for BYU in the 1980 Holiday Bowl, with a Hail Mary on the final play. At the end of his career, McMahon was a backup to Brett Favre, winning a second Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay Packers in 1996.
Today, Jim McMahon is in the CBD business, along with several other retired NFL Players, and advocates for its use among players whose bodies have endured the wear and tear of a long NFL career.
