Frank Walks Episode 66: Mike Vrabel presented by BODYARMOR
A new NFL season is dawning, with training camps underway and preseason games about to kick off. A few weeks ago in Tahoe, I had a chance to walk with Mike Vrabel, the new coach of the New England Patriots. It is a homecoming for Vrabel, who was a key part of their first three Super Bowl championships as a linebacker. Occasionally, Vrabel would get in the game on offense and score touchdowns in Super Bowl XXXVIII and Super Bowl XXXIX.
After his career ended, Mik Vrabel went into coaching, eventually becoming head coach of the Tennessee Titans. In 2019, Vrabel led the Titans to an upset win over the Patriots in what would be Tom Brady's final game in New England. Vrabel led the Titans to the 2019 AFC Championship and three straight playoff appearances, but was dismissed following the 2023 season.
Now Mike Vrabel is back in Foxboro, leading a young Patriots team with the hopes of returning to glory.
