A lot of times people ask me who is the “best” guest we’ve ever had. Or the “biggest.” “Most important.” Whatever. And for your boy KFC, Bill Bellamy is right up there at the top of that list. MTV was so integral to my childhood. From VJ’ing music videos to MTV sports to motherfucking ROCK N JOCK, Bill Bellamy was there just as much as my parents were. And he looks exactly the goddam same today as he did back then. Black really dont crack.
Also Bill invented the phrase “Booty Call” which is some Shakespeare shit. You know when you just kinda assume that words just…exist? Like they are so common and ubiquitous that you cant imagine there was a time when one person was the first to ever say the word or phrase? Thats what I thought about with “Booty call.” But, nope. Bill Bellamy coined the term used for calling someone up with the intent of them to come over to your house and fuck you. THAT, my friends, is power. That is influence. That is awesome.
